Two obituaries on the same day presents rare dilemma

We've had several posts here on Click about newspaper ethics. Regarding that issue, I must point you over to last week's editorial about the obituaries of a slain police officer and the man who shot him. The View received obituaries for both men on the same day, which presented my editors with an ethical and moral dilemma. Both obits ran, but on different days. The editorial (it can be found here) is a wonderful piece of writing that will explain how the newspaper made the decision to run both obituaries.
